Hot Doug's; Chicago, IL - July 3, 2010

After a failed attempt to head to Hot Doug's a few weeks ago,
we finally made it to the iconic 'Sausage Superstore" in Chicago. Note: 3324 North California Ave. (correct) is not the same as 3324 South California Ave (incorrect) ;) Picture descriptions are as follows:
1) The iconic sign2) Mmmm....food
3) The specials of the day/week4) The main attraction (from right to left)-Curry and Apple Pork Sausage w/sweet curry mustard, cocoa cardona cheese, & vodka infused dried fruit
-Foie Gras and Sauternes Duck Sausage w/truffle aioli, foie gras mousse, and fleur de sel
-One Third pound pork calebrese sausage, with creamy sun dried tomato mustard, spicy tapanade, and taleggio cheese
-Lamb and Pork Artichoke Sausage w/Artichoke-Lemon Pesto and Don Olivio cheese

And of course, we topped it all off with Duck Fat Fries :)

Overall, worth the one hour + wait. But next time, I'd recommend bringing some sidewalk chalk to occupy your time!
